Script Writer

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and creating written content, with an emphasis on content creation for our YouTube channel.

More on the Script Writer role:

• Work closely with the entire video production team, creating scripts about cool gadgets, automotive innovations, new technological breakthroughs and such.
• Source innovative products and keep a comprehensive database of them.
• Research/evaluate relevant topics, generate creative ideas and co-decide on the publishing schedule.

• Monitor the success of published videos and find strategies to optimise viewer engagement.
• Keep an eye on social media trends and best practices used by competitors, and incorporate these new approaches into the content strategy.
• Take ownership of specific content series and contribute to the development of new content formats.
• Create and maintain materials to assist a growing team of writers, editors, and researchers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for different skills in our ideal candidate:

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in script/content writing for communications or media; prior experience in YouTube content creation or in news agencies is strongly preferred
• English language skills at a B2/C1 level, ability to speak other languages is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to think strategically and to “connect the dots”
• Quick understanding of necessary style requirements according to customer needs
• Strong interpersonal skills to tune into the audience's needs - to create content that resonates with the different target audiences 
• Good understanding of video trends on social platforms
• Nice to have: a passion for technology

Hours of Work
